Rossmann boss Raoul Rossmann reveals his plans: he has a two-stage expansion plan in mind. ""Five to ten stores should be possible in the first year."" In the longer term, if they are successful, one hundred Rossmann stores can be expected in Switzerland in five to six years. The first stores will open in central Switzerland in December 2024 or January 2025, followed by openings throughout Switzerland. Two things are important: good space - and attractive prices.
It is the 17th international market for the retailer and represents an important part of the company's ambitious growth plans in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).Hungary is not only the 17th market worldwide, but also the sixth market in Central and Eastern Europe, where the company now operates 13 stores. Later this year, the company will open three more stores in the region, in Timisoara in Romania, Bydgoszcz (ˈbɪdɡɒʃtʃ] in Poland and a second store in Prague in the Czech Republic.

Botega Veneta: The new retail concept pays homage to classic Italian materials and the brand’s home city of Venice. Notably, the store’s façade and interior are characterized by concrete tiles inspired by Venetian architect Carlo Scarpa. The concrete tiles are complemented by Italian walnut wood used for shelving, display units, and mirrors, alongside Verde Saint Denis marble, sourced from the Aosta Valley in northern Italy.
The store opens with Bottega Veneta's Pre-Fall collection and the brand's new candle collection, as well as three exclusive Sardine bags with ceramic handles and six exclusive handbags in exotic leathers, exclusive to the new Mall of Emirates boutique.
Mugler has opened its first store in China. The Parisian label owned by L’Oréal has recently opened a store showcasing both its ready-to-wear and fragrance collections on the first floor of Shanghai’s Réel shopping mall, on Nanjing West Road, a busy shopping street in Jing'an District.The new Shanghai store is now the label’s only monobrand store worldwide. The interiors’ sharp lines are emphasised by louvres and shelves in brushed aluminium, while the colour palette is characterised by Mugler’s iconic blue, and by a black carpet running diagonally across the floor.
